Ex-MEGADETH Bassist DAVID ELLEFSON Talks About Importance Of Mastering; Video Available

November 4, 2008

A three-minute video clip of bassist David Ellefson (F5, ex-MEGADETH) and mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, FIGHT, HALFORD, SIGH, DRIVER) talking about mastering and why it's very important to master your album can be viewed below.

Maor Appelbaum mastered F5's sophomore album "The Reckoning", which will be released in Europe on January 23, 2009 via Silverwolf Productions. The follow-up to 2005's "A Drug for All Seasons", which was released in the U.S. on August 19 through OarFin Distribution, was produced by Ryan Greene at his Crush Recording facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

F5 called in Ellefson's longtime rhythm section cohort Jimmy DeGrasso to play drums on the new album following the departure of original F5 drummer Dave Small.
